For over a decade, I worked inside the jewellery manufacturing industry — first as a Sales Manager, later across sales and business development — learning the craft from the inside out: how factories operate, how quality is really judged, and what it takes to turn a buyer's idea into a finished piece.

Along the way, something kept catching my attention. At jewellery exhibitions, I watched how the industry's commission-based buying houses actually worked. A buyer would come in with a requirement, and the buying house would take it to the market to find a manufacturer — but many of these intermediaries had little real understanding of the industry itself. They couldn't properly evaluate a manufacturer's capability, judge product quality, or guide a buyer through production. They were connectors, not experts.

I saw an opportunity in that gap: a sourcing partner built by someone who actually understood manufacturing — not just introductions, but real technical judgment at every step.

While I was laying the groundwork for that idea, I continued working in the industry, where I met Gourav Jadoun — a recent graduate with a background in IT, quietly nursing his own dream of building something of his own. We became close friends, spending hours talking through ideas about what we might build someday.

What we realized was that our strengths were made to work together. I brought a decade of hands-on knowledge in jewellery manufacturing, sales, and business development. Gourav brought technical expertise in building and running digital systems. Together, we laid the foundation for Laros Global.
